Member Profile
Young Board members:
Students between who are between the age of 14-27
Young professionals who are between the age of 28-40 years old;
Have an interest in sustainability, nature, and systemic change and action;
Are curious, reflective, and willing to learn collaboratively;
Are comfortable engaging with diverse perspectives and stakeholders;
Are willing to volunteer for 8-10 hours per month);
Have good communication skills, or a strong motivation to develop them.
Comfortable communicating in English and Dutch
Term & commitment
Members are appointed for a 12-month term (on a voluntary basis)
Participation is voluntary, with clear expectations.
In cases of prolonged inactivity or misalignment, membership may be concluded through mutual agreement.
Working methods
The Young Board meets quarterly.
Meetings may take place online or in person.
Members collaborate via a digital communication platform (e.g., WhatsApp & Google Meet);
Asli supports all the Young Board members (onboarding, technical questions etc.,).
Advice and outcomes are documented and shared within Google Drive under the dedicated folder ‘Young Board’.
